I wouldn't try it as I'm vegan BUT I will definitely use the idea with persimmon, greens and herbs to add to my salad. I was eating kaki just like it is until now. You gave me an idea to include it in my meals :) Great! Thank you Shibashaki!

I never thought of associating persimmons with any sort of meat, fish included. I only had them as a simple fruit. Thanks for enlightening me through this post!
Persimmons do not grow in the area where I live. I'm not even certain that I see them in the grocery stores here. I will have to keep an eye out and see if they are there. It is getting very cold here so it may be too late in the season.
I am in Wisconsin in the north central part of the USA. We could begin getting snow any time now and it will last through March. It is a good time of year to enjoy reading posts on Steem!
