Rice Porridge or Arrozcaldo
Hello to all good people of Steemit.
Today, It is my pleasure to share to you my own version of Arrozcaldo or Rice porridge.
To begin with:
- I made a chicken stock with celery, garlic, bayleaves, peppercorn and onion. Leave it to boil and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Shred the chicken and set aside the chicken stock to be used later.
Ingredients
ginger (thumbsized)
Garlic , onion
Fish sauce, pepper (ground)
Rice 1 cup
Preparations
- Sautee garlic, ginger and onion in a medium heat pan.
- Add the shredded chicken and once browned, add a few tablespoon of fish sauce.
- Then add the rinsed Rice and continue to sautee it for few minutes.
- Add the chicken stock, let it boil and turn to the heat to simmer for 30 minutes.
- Serve warm and enjoy.
