History

There's this Bakery in Hyderabad which is a few kilometers away from Karachi called Bombay bakers, this bakery is 109 years old. It is a business run through the family and specifically bake cakes. The family is well renowned and called the Thadani family. people come from all around to get a taste for their delicious cakes.

The Plan

So my friends decided to get the cake and eat it. The cake is sold out till 10 AM in the morning so we drove from 4 AM when even the sun didn't come out. The journey was of 2.5 hours without any stops but we did stop for an early breakfast and an amazing view of the sun. The best part after the cake was the ride all of us jam packed in a car quarreling over the aux cord and having all kinds of fun. We didn't even realize and already we were in Hyderabad.

The cake was different the top covering wasn't creamy instead it had a very sweet taste which would melt in your mouth like butter. In all honesty it wasn't that amazing it was dry as it lacked the creamy texture and wasn't light because of all the butter used. But for a story it sure was something getting a cake from a 100+ year old bakery it's something historic. I mean the bakery is older than the country of Pakistan which is just over 70 so it has some royalty to it.
