Happy Birthday Donut: why birthdays are happy?

Happy birthday to all of you who have it today, who will have it tomorrow, after the tomorrow or any other day!

Birthdays are great. You know what else is great? Birthday wishes. Chocolate glazing. Smiles. Candles... (I have heard that the ones who have it a lot- have lived really long).

Recently I have had a birthday. And it was a birthday just like any other. I guess this is how it feels when it's not yours, right?

The only thing amazing was the efforts that were put into this donut. Yes, it does look homemade. But you know what? This is what I love the most, because at the end are the efforts that really do matter.
