Now it is necessary to fry the vegetables in a frying pan - onions (1 piece), garlic (2 cloves), carrots (1 piece), beets (1 large or 2 medium pieces) and add grated tomato or 2 spoons of tomato paste. When vegetables are fried we add them to our broth, where meat, potatoes and cabbage are already brewed. we mix, and our borscht already acquires a dark - red beautiful color.
