The other day Andrea went grocery shopping and decided we needed a bunch of bananas.
So she bought these:
She said, when she saw them she couldn't refuse.
As you can see, the entire bunch will fit in the palm of my hand. Each banana was 1.5" to 2' long and we had to wait until they were fully ripe before eating them (one sitting). They were tasty though.
When I lived in Hawaii, they had a local small banana called an apple banana. It was the best tasting banana I've ever tried. I dislike black-spot ripe regular bananas, but these apple bananas taste nice, tangy and slightly sweet when ripe. I love in Florida now so I miss those bananas.
