How to Make Banana Dole Fritters

Hello and greetings everyone. How are you all doing today? I hope everyone’s doing great on this beautiful Sunday morning.
Today, I wanted to share a fantastic delicious dessert called “Dole Banana Fritters.” This dessert I learned from my mom. She used to make these on weekends for us when we were little. It is a simple dessert and it taste really good. There are many variations to this and this is one of them. Anyways, I hope you’ll try this in your kitchen at home. Here’s how to make it.

Dole Banana Fritters

Ingredients:

5 medium dole bananas
10 eggroll wrappers
honey or caster sugar
1 tbl water in a small bowl
2 cups cooking oil
Ice cream
Hershey chocolate syrup

Steps and Procedures:

Remove banana peels from the banana. Place peeled bananas in a platter. Cut the bananas in half and then cut lengthwise.

Place wrapper on a flat surface. Place one half lengthwise cut bananas in the middle.

Place a strip of honey in the middle or if using caster sugar, coat the bananas with sugar.

Wrap the bananas as shown in the photos or as you would like wrapping an eggroll.

Use water to wet the edges of the wrapper for sealing the bananas.

Place each one in a platter.

In a medium saucepan, heat oil, over medium heat.

Fry the banana fritters on both sides until golden brown.

Remove from the frying pan and place banana fritters on a serving platter lined with paper towel to absorb the oil.

Transfer to another serving platter.

Serve with your choice of ice cream and drizzle with Hershey Chocolate. Or you can just eat it by itself, if you desire to.

I'm really impressed, it seems so delicious. But what makes me impressed is that we have a similar traditional food in my country called "bourek", but the difference is instead of bananas we cook it with cheese, meat , seafood ... and it's very delicious. I invite you to try it ^^

Am good. And you? I'm glad you liked them. Yeah, they don't just look really good, they taste really good too like you said nice, soft, and crispy. You can double up or quadruple the recipe janton, would be very easy to do and you can just munch on them. Yummy...
