The Blue Fish Restaurant... An Asian Fusion Restaurant

We went to The Blue Fish Restaurant for a friends birthday this past weekend. This restaurant in Houston, TX was quite a find! I give this restaurant high marks for culinary creativity, presentation of dishes, and service. Below are some of the amazing Sushi, Sashimi, and Asian Fusion dishes we ordered. Our taste buds were not disappointed!

For my first course I ordered BBQ eel rolls. Melts in your mouth!

A friend of mine ordered the sashimi platter. The presentation was fantastic!

Another couple at the table ordered the ahi salad which the server presented like this...

Then they took it away for a second and presented it like this... how cute!

Some of the rolls that were ordered were the Dragon Roll, the Rainforest roll, and a very interesting Hawaiian roll which featured tuna and pineapple with coconut shavings on top. Surprisingly, it was a pretty tasty roll!

For my entree I had the most amazing Slow braised short rib that was so tender. It was accompanied by sweet potato puree and noodles.

If you are ever in the Houston, Tx area this is a must try restaurant. The food was quality, well seasoned, and perfectly cooked. They also have an extensive drink menu with craft cocktails. I can definitely recommend this place! 5 out of 5 stars!
