Vegetable Pulao recipe
Ingredients
1 tbsp clarified butter / drawn butter
10 cashews [*fr1]
¾ tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 cup basmati rice soaked for half-hour
½ cup milk
2 cups water
salt to style
spices:
20 black pepper
1 herb / tej patta
5 cloves
2 cardamom / elachi
1 in. cinnamon stick
1 star anise
vegetables:
½ onion finely sliced
2 inexperienced chillis slit lengthwise
1 carrot sliced
5 beans sliced
¼ cup cauliflower florets
¼ cup peas recent / frozen
Instructions
firstly, take a cooking utensil and soften clarified butter.
furthermore, add all spices.
also add cashews and fry on medium flame until cashews flip golden brown.
now add finely sliced onions.
also add a tsp of ginger-garlic paste. saute until raw aroma is gone.
then add slit inexperienced chillis.
additionally, add all vegetables of your alternative.
saute them for few minutes.
then add basmati rice soaked in water for half-hour.
saute them gently for a second while not breaking rice grains.
then add [*fr1] cup milk.
also add a pair of cups water.
add salt pro re nata and provides a final combine.
furthermore, pressure cook for two whistles on medium flame.
allow the pressure to unleash by itself.
finally, serve veg pulao with onion-tomato side dish.
