"Making Sugar Cookies"
Yesterday, my wife (Mariah) and older daughter (Frankie) decided it was time to make some holiday goodies. They made peanut butter fudge, Heath fudge, peppermint bark fudge, and...ummmm...sugar cookies. Frank, who is 25, married, and expecting, bought some cookie cutters, with a fox, a llama, and a deer as templates.
What they created with these templates would haunt H. P. Lovecraft's nightmares!!!
Yeah.... It turns out that my family is a bit sick in the brain. The younger daughter (Elise, who is 21 years old) suggested the "poop" cookie. Mariah tells me that Elise came up with several of the design ideas, but Frankie executed them, and Frankie was obviously influenced by Monsters Inc for some of the color schemes. The nightmare deer with the severed feet was, I believe, an accident---but they all thought it was funny!
And, being an old, fat guy, I thought the dang cookies TASTED great! (Sadly, I ate SEVEN before bedtime yesterday....but not the footless deer. That one's too much, even for me. (Ha!)
