Kerala Fish fry served with Poato chips

FISH FRY

Ingredients :

Tuna fish -3 slices

Chilly powder -1 tsp
Turmeric powder -1/8 tsp
Ginger garlic paste - 1/2 tsp
Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
salt - to taste
Cooking oil - 1/2 c

POTATO CHIPS

Ingredients:

Potatoes -2-3
Cooking oil - 2 c
salt - to taste

METHOD

FISH FRY :

Clean and wipe the fish .

Mix chilly powder,turmeric powder, black pepper, ginger garlic paste and salt.

Marinade the fish slices with the above paste and leave it for 4-5 hrs.

Shallow fry the slices until both sides are done.

POTATO CHIPS

Wash and scrub the potatoes.
Cut them into rounds and cut the rounds into sticks across and leave it to soak in cold water for 30 mins.

Heat the oil in a deep pan.
Drain and thoroughly dry the chips on a food cloth.
Fry the chips until crisp and slightly brown.

Drain on absorbent kitchen paper and sprinkle with salt .
Serve immediately with fried fish and tomato sauce.
