Thick or Thin?
In my hometown it is all about the thin crust pie
When it comes to local pie's, my hometown has one of the best I have ever eaten at, but don't ask them for a deep dish pie cause they will tell you that " you are at the wrong place." They also only have 2 sizes, a 10in and a 12in. They believe in keeping it simple and keeping it orginal.
Well worth the wait!
Any given night, you will have to wait to get in, wait time is usually between 45mins to an hour. Friday and Saturday night, expect to wait an hour and half to get in.
Every thing is prepared fresh daily, and every pie is made to order.
lets do lunch.
So today my wife and I decided to do pizza for lunch. Now she is a tradional girl, so pepperoni for her.
Myself, I like it piled high and full of meat, so today I got the 5 meat.
I know, mine looks better than hers, but thier pepperoni is to die for.
They tell me "what makes a good pie is the oven"
And they are keeping it old school when it comes to ovens. Cooked with fire.

I don't care about the flavor of pizza but the most important thing for me is to be made freshly order by order. that's what gives value

my favorite pizza is the one prepared with meat. I deal with a good restaurant in my town called "Hekaya" and it also do it fresh

Yea its nice to hand it out, I got some on delagation sure makes a big difference when you can hand out 50cents to $1.00. Have fun with my friend. 100% every 2.4 hours.

You had me at the beginning, I'm thinking deep dish pie?? WTF? Then I see it and remember that pizza is called pie on the east coast. Going to the east coast for the first time to visit family as a kid this "pie" talk really threw me off. LOL

Your making me hungry dude! My wife and I went to Chicago a few years ago and ate a lot of pizza there. Those authentic thick pizzas from there are still my all time favorites. But we do have a couple Italian places that do a thin crust around here that is currently in second place, they look similar to the ones you showed off here.

I also like those Chicago deep dish pies. I can eat one or two (at the most) pieces. I'll check out your Canadian ruffles, I've never heard of them.
