Lemang aceh, food during Ramadan fasting
Lemang is a food of glutinous rice cooked in a bunch of bamboo, after previously rolled with a piece of banana leaf. Rolls of bamboo leaves containing rice flour mixed with coconut milk is then put in a bamboo seruas then burned until cooked. Lemang more delicious eaten warm-warm. How to consume lemang varies from region to region. Some love to enjoy it in a sweet way (plus jam, kinca, serikaya) or in salted way (rendang, eggs, and other side dishes), or some who eat it with fruits like durian.

>Material : Bamboo blades 4 cm in diameter One end is 50 cm wide White sticky rice {soaked 5 hours, drain} 2 liters Banana leaves for the base to taste
Spices:
Garlic 3 cloves
Santan from 3 coconuts 3/4 liter
**How to cook :**
- Alloy bamboo slats with banana leaves that have been available, how to roll banana leaves, put into the bamboo blade with a bamboo clamp. Arrange for the entire bamboo surface to be covered with leaves and exaggerate about 5 cm from the bamboo surface hole.
- Input, into coconut milk, salt, garlic.
- Enter the ketan into the bamboo until 3/4 full as make lontong, pour the coconut milk into it, until 2 segment of finger on sticky rice. Cover and seal the excess of the leaves on the open top, tie firmly at the end of the bamboo.
- Burn over a large enough fire, by putting the bamboo towards the top rather tilted. Rotate occasionally to mature evenly. Burning lemang for about 6 hours.
- After the lemon is cooked, remove from the heat, let it cool slightly. Split the bamboo and remove the glue.
