Simple breakfast
This was my breakfast this morning - delicious, healthy and full of the good stuff.
Fresh berries:
A bowl with oatflakes, chia seeds and wheat bran. Let them soak in a plant based milk of your choice for ten to fifteen minutes.
Oatflakes and wheat bran are a good source of iron. Many of us lack of iron, very often do women or vegans. But this mustn't be the case if they choose their foods carefully. Combine foods rich in iron with foods that contain much vitamin C. Vitamin C increases the absorption power of the body for iron. Avoid to drink black or green tea or coffee with your breakfast. The tannins in these beverages inhibits the absorption of the iron as well as calcium does. That's why I always choose a plantal milk without added calcium. My favorite at the moment is oat milk. My calcium comes from green leaves, broccoli, almonds ... But that's another story
I also had some herb tea and a glass of orange juice.
Mix the cereals with the berries.
For more bite and crispyness add some sunflower and pumpkin seeds and some granola.

Das sieht super lecker aus :) Ich müsste glaub ich auch mal wieder ein paar Haferflocken mit Beeren essen. Danach fühlt man sich echt gut :)
