Gizdodo is a name for a Nigeria dish, prepared with combination of gizzard and ripe plantain, It is often served with rice , especially jollof rice.

Chicken gizzard is best for this recipe, but you can also substitute it for turkey or duck gizzards.

As for the plantain, it is better to use ripe plantain and not over ripe , so you don't end up with a less appealing meal.
