Merry Christmas Stemian friends / Feliz Navidad amigos Stemian!

Yesterday I went to have dinner with the family for Christmas Eve, and as usual my mother had already put the Christmas tree in the living room.

Ayer me fui a cenar con la familia por nochebuena, y como es habitual mi madre ya había puesto el árbol de navidad en el salón.

It was a very fun dinner, you always miss the family that does not live in your city, and yesterday we took the opportunity to eat well and laugh for a while. We took some finger-licking appetizers:

Fue una cena muy divertida, siempre se echa de menos a la familia que no vive en tu misma ciudad, y ayer aprovechamos para comer bien y reirnos un buen rato. Tomamos unos entrantes que estaban para chuparse los dedos:

This starter was made by my mother. It is very easy to make and it looks great on any food. It is a cone of surimi sticks, olives, pickle and mayonnaise, delicious.

Este entrante lo preparó mi madre. Es muy fácil de hacer y queda muy bien en cualquier comida. Se trata de un cucurucho de palitos surimi, aceitunas, pepinillo y mayonesa, delicioso.

The next starter is also very simple and tasty. They are grapes cut in half and with cheese in between. You can use the cheese that you like the most.

El siguiente entrante también es muy sencillo y sabroso. Son uvas cortadas por la mitad y con queso entre medias. Podéis echarle el queso que más os guste.

Then we ate some ham, sushi (if you read my previous posts, you already know that I am a sushi lover), marinated salmon and pâté.

Luego tomamos un poco de jamón, sushi (si habéis leido posts anteriores mios sabréis que soy un amante del sushi), salmón marinado y paté.

Something from the sea also goes well in a Christmas Eve, the prawns from Madagascar are very good.

Algo del mar también vien bien en una cena de navidad, los langostinos de madagascar están muy buenos.

And mozzarella sticks with cherry tomatoes and olives are also simple and yummy.

Y las brochetas de mozarela con tomate cherry y aceituna son también sencillas y exquisitas.

Later we went to the main courses, a hot broth that makes it grateful due to the cold outside and sirloin with apple compote.

Más tarde pasamos a los platos fuertes, un caldo caliente que con el frío que hace se agradece y solomillo con compota de manzana.

And to finish my favorite dessert, coconut cake done by my aunt.

Y para finalizar mi postre preferido, tarta de coco hecha por tía.
