I have always enjoyed the Karakoy Gulluoglu sweets cafe every time I visit Istanbul. It is truly one of the best places to enjoy a fine Turkish Baqlava topped with Turkish tea . There are several kinds and each has its best taste .

Massive baklava store with seating both inside and outside. Pay first at the cashier, then take your ticket to a baklava counter and pick your baklava. Coffee is brought to your seat. In addition to the well known baklava, they also serve some sorts of baklava I had not come across before, all well worth trying. Very friendly service, despite the somewhat hectic structure of paying and then ordering.
