Chez Loran - The Restaurant

When we arrived at Chez Loran, we were greeted by the courteous owner of the Pousada and Portuguese, Luís. We chatted and then he took us to our table, which had already been booked in advance. The restaurant was very empty because it is low season, but make no mistake: there it is. The girl who attended us was always very courteous.

We started with a portion of breaded shrimp, which by the way, was divine. Soon after came a portion that Luis recommended to us: the “Couvert”, which are seasoned olives and toast with butter (dish from Portugal). At first we thought it would be kind of boring and weird. It was quite a surprise. It was hard to stop eating. We even took the recipe.

Then came the main course: Shrimp in pineapple. Monica freaked out. It was delicious. But we were full (for a change) and asked to pack and take to the inn. Their motto is if you don't like it, you don't pay. But not worth eating all and last bite say you did not like lol. Another detail is that they do not charge the 10% fee. Even so, we gave a nice tip to the girl who answered us.
