I'm not sure why every expensive drink has to be poop related, but a couple friends gifted us Bugapoop tea, so we had to try it. Bugapoop Tea is technically feces of grain moth larvae, but the larvae just eat fermented tea leaves, and the leaves are further fermented in their digestive system. Because of the harvesting system, this tea can reach up to $1,000 a kilogram.

Bugapoop, or poo poo puerh tea as it's originally known as in China, is black and fragrant with an earthy scent. It's been used in Chinese medicine for ages, but here's a recent study on it: http://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/pii/S0963996913000240?via%3Dihub

But what does it taste like? We shot a video of our taste test:

Would you try bugapoop tea?
