Som tam is actually one of my favourite thai foods, but I love almost everything else that's Thai. We visited so many night markets in Thailand, touristy and non-touristy, the best thing i had there was probably their sushi... prepared right there in front of you, so fresh.
A pad thai is good too, but there are so many other Thai foods to try than that.
