White Chili | RECIPE

Hello Steemit foodies.

Today I want to share this delicious dish with you. It's a perfect option for a vegetarian meal or in case you want a yummy fatty taste, read till the end of the preparation to see my secret.


9 ounce white kidney beans, drained and rinsed
9 ounce mushroom, chopped
1 regular size onion, chopped
6 cloves garlic, chopped
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon ground pepper


1 cup of rice
2 cup of water
1 teaspoon ground turmeric
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup carrot, grated
¼ cup onion, chopped
2 ounce bacon, for serving. (optional)


Place the onions in a large pot and throw in the garlic. Cook over medium heat until browned.
Place the mushroom and cook until low size, and then pour in the white beans, cumin, salt and pepper.
Stir together well, cover, and then reduce the heat to low.
Simmer for 1 hour, stirring occasionally. If the mixture becomes overly dry, add 1/2 cup water at a time as needed.


Place the onions in a pan and throw in the carrots, salt and turmeric.
Meanwhile, place the water in a pot until boil, and then place the rice whit our pan mix.
Cook until rice turn dry and full yellow.

Serve with crispy bacon or without in case of wanted a vegetarian dish.

Hoy quiero compartir con ustedes este delicioso plato. Es una opción perfecta para una comida vegetariana o en caso de que quieran un sabroso y grasoso sabor, lee hasta final y descubre el secreto.


250g de granos blancos cocidos
250g de champiñones
1 cebolla tamaño regular, cortada en brunoise
6 dientes de ajo, cortados emince
1 cucharadita de comino
Sal y pimienta al gusto


1 taza de arroz
2 tazas de agua
1 cucharadita de cúrcuma molida
1/2 taza de zanahoria rallada
1/4 taza de cebolla cortada brunoise
Sal al gusto

50g de tocino cortado emince (opcional)


Coloque las cebollas en una olla grande y agregue el ajo. Cocine a fuego medio hasta que se dore.
Coloque el champiñón y cocine hasta que tenga un tamaño bajo, y luego vierta los frijoles blancos, el comino, la sal y la pimienta.
Revuelva bien, cubra y luego reduzca el fuego a bajo.
Cocine a fuego lento durante 1 hora, revolviendo de vez en cuando.
Si la mezcla se vuelve demasiado seca, agregue 1/2 taza de agua a la vez según sea necesario.


Coloque las cebollas en una sartén y agregue las zanahorias, la sal y la cúrcuma.
Mientras tanto, coloca el agua en una olla hasta que hierva, y luego coloca el arroz con nuestra mezcla de sartén.
Cocine hasta que el arroz seque y se torne amarillo.

Servir con tocino crujiente o sin él en caso de querer un plato vegetariano.
