AUTHENTIC MEXICAN RESTAURANT - LAS RANCHEROS - #ULOG
Paradise Found and family recently traveled to Springfield, IL for a family wedding. Our hotel was nearby a authentic Mexican Restaurant called Las Rancheros. Our daughter Lesly, being from Honduras, was excited to get back to her roots and enjoy some Spanish style food.
This is what we each ordered
Papa Bear - Camromes ala diabla
~ Spicy Mexican Shrimp with chipotle sauce.
Mama Bear - Mariscos Camerones
~ Shrimp dish with veggies.
Lesly Bear - Molcajetes Mar y tierra
~ Stone mortar bowl overflowing with Surf 'n Turf.
We also enjoyed Margarita's on the rocks with salt on the rim. It was nice to have a break from the routine back home. Lesly had finished her college semester a week ago, and I think she needed the special night of celebration the most.

In conclusion
The authentic Spanish food was excellent and the Margarita's were tasty - we had a wonderful few hours out celebrating.
