RE: How Easy Is To Eat Healthy?

in #food7 years ago

Nice. I spent a long time trying out various diet and tricks, but from what I've learned, there's a lot of wisdom in the simple mantra of "everything in moderation". Additionally, trying to eat a variety of non-processed foods will be really all you need to have a healthy diet.

There's truth in the calories in/calories out mathematical perspective of health, but it's hard to have the willpower to not overdo it if you are trying to fit a 600 calorie cheesecake or 1100 calorie deep fried meal into every day's nutrition. Eating nutrient-dense food will fill you up and you'll lose cravings and neurotic snacking habits naturally. To get there, focus not on the goal weight/fat loss/etc, but the idea of getting into sustainable habits that you know you can keep up indefinitely.

Thanks so much for your comment, I'm learning to eat better and control the cravings for fast food. I've come to realize how important is to construct habits in the body, but as long as you eat balanced, calories count it's not necessary, little by little your body starts telling you when you are going out of line and when are you truly full.
