Subway's Chicken is Half Soy

CBC News reported the results of a DNA test conducted by Trent University's Wildlife Forensic Lab. The test consisted of meat from 5 major fast food restaurants:

McDonald's Country Chicken - Grilled
Wendy's Grilled Chicken Sandwich
A&W Chicken Grill Deluxe
Tim Hortons Chipotle Chicken Grilled Wrap
Subway Oven Roasted Chicken Sandwich
Subway Sweet Onion Chicken Teriyaki (Chicken Strips)

The results showed that most of the meats were in fact meat with the exception of the meats from Subway. The oven roasted chicken sandwich scored 53.6% chicken DNA while the sweet onion chicken teriyaki scored 42.8% chicken DNA. The remainder consisted of soy protein. Subway disagrees stating that their supplier uses on 100% real chicken.
