Sardinians have their national dish called Malloreddus alla Campidanese. It is a dumpling like pasta with grooves which holds the sauce to the pasta.

They say it can only be found on the Italian island of Sardinia. I am sure it is available in other countries but I am sure it tastes better in Sardinia.
that food looks amazing... I was in tuscany this year and the food there was just divine.... Cant wait to go again.. I think i will put Sardinia on the list now...
