RE: What To Eat In Singapore - Suitable For All Budgets ~HK-JP-SG Cross-Community Challenge~

in #food6 years ago

Roti Prata with runny boiled eggs and Nasi Lemak suit my appetite better.

Mandarin Oriental Singapore had absolutely fabulous customer services, staff from check-in to room services were extremely attentive, courteous and friendly. I still remember the frontdesk manager did above and beyond finding a mini philips screwdriver in the office and fixing something for me all by himself. Although hardware of the hotel may be a bit old, services from the heart has made the hotel stand out.

i think generally when you stay in a 5 star hotel, the service tend to be better. and if it is a worldwide brand, their service standards are quite good and they will go out of their way to help you. you can also find such service in 4 star and below hotels, but its quite rare and its dependant on the staff's mood. but at a 5 star hotel, such service is expected. of course once in awhile we might run into a service staff who is just having a bad day and might end up giving a lower service standard. they are human after all.
