Nigerian Delicacy Series: Bole and Fish
If only you could see me dabbing to this dish at this instance.
It's like the mother of meals.
I'm a foodie, my earlier post in this series was about Abacha, Nkwobi and Isi Ewu, I love them all but this is different, I respect this meal.
Even with its brilliance in taste, it is one of the easiest delicacies to prepare, all that is needed is plaintain ripe or unripe, fish and gravy (sauce)
First, roost the plaintain with sprinkled salt
Cook the fish a bit till it softens, then roost
And finally the Gravy is prepared to taste.
It's prepared with Red oil, chilli pepper, onions, salt, the spiced water used to boil the fish alongside any other ingredients of choice
The gravy is then spread on top of the fish and plaintain alongside other suitable toppings
This is my favorite snack, not forgetting it the signature meal of the City of Port Harcourt, here in Nigeria.
That's it for Bole and Fish, if you can't get it around, you could try to prepare it yourself.
Make haste and join me, because I am having a blast
