Getuk Lindri

Getuk Lindri is a traditional cake originating from Java, Geuk Lindri is not only known among the people of Java island but also known among other residents outside of Java. Getuk Lindri as a traditional cake, lots of people who sell it in the traditional markets, but there are also people who sell it at the roadside stalls.

Getuk Lindri is a cake made from cassava that has been peeled skin, then boiled until cooked, after that drained and cooled. After the cold, cassava added sugar and salt sufficiently pounded until smooth, and then shape to pieces of cake with the Getuk mold, using a noodle mold or meat grinder.

Getuk Lindri can be served and eaten in three ways, that are : eaten just like that, eaten with grated coconut and who likes sweeter, it can be added with melted palm sugar.
