Love Fries? Hate Carbs?

Let’s be honest, everyone loves fries. Waffle Fries. Crispy Cut Fries. Sweet Potatoes Fries. Curly Fries. Smiley Fries. Whatever flavor you can think of fries.

Do you love fries but also love your body? The answer is carrot fries. Taste good on the lips and they are even nice on the hips! As a sweet potato lover and diabetic, carrot fries are the new fitness fries that are just evolving in this health and fitness motivated society.

Carrot fries are very easy to make and only require 4 ingredients. Carrots, olive oil, salt and pepper.

Prep Time-10 mins
Cook Time-20 mins
Total Time-30mins

  1. Preheat the oven to 400f. Line a baking tray with parchment or a non-stick silicone mat.
  2. Slice the carrots into long thin pieces – about the size of a thick French fry .IMG_3073.jpg
  3. Mix the carrots and olive oil, salt and pepper in shallow dish or ziplock. IMG_3077.jpg
  4. Place in the oven for 15-20 minutes, turning once until dark golden brown.IMG_3078.jpg
  5. Take the fries out of the oven, place on a plate and serve with the dipping sauce of your choice.

I might try this. I have never been a big fan of carrots. I eat them occasionally for the nutritional value, but they are not my favorites. lol

If you love sweet potatoes, you will certainly love these! :)
