Braised Lamb
I love roasts, especially from mutton. It's always easy to cook, and it's always delicious!
1 kg of lamb leg
3 tbsp. l. olive oil
3 heads of yellow onion
pepper to taste
1/2 cup red wine
salt to taste
garlic to taste
bunch of green dill or parsley
3 bay leaves
Grill the onion in olive oil until golden. Transfer to a separate bowl.
Then fry the mutton. Fry over medium heat until all water has evaporated. Then add salt, pepper, and red wine. Stew for another 30 minutes.
Put everything in a deep form for baking. Add the toasted onions, a bunch of greens and a bay leaf. Cover and put in the oven for an hour and a half. Bake at a temperature of 180 degrees Celsius.
