# Puff pastry dumpling
Puff pastry dumpling
I live in Taranto, a little city of Puglia, a region of southern Italy, where you can eat delicious dishes. I want to bring to our tables, some typical dish of them, and some recipe invented by me.
Ingredients (for four people):
- three apples;
- three tablespoons of sugar;
- chopped almonds or hazelnuts;
- raisin;
- jam (fig, plum or apricot)
- 0.55 lbs puff pastry;
- a small cup of water (0.11 gal)
Method:
Peel and slice the apples. Put the apples in a pan
and add water and sugar. Simmer the apples until
they are cooked and then left they cool down.

Roll out the pastry on a baking sheet. (I buy it ready for use).
On half of puff pastry, with a knife or kitchen wheel, drauw rectangles.

With a spoon, put on each rectangle a bit of baked apple,
jam, grain and raisin
Cover the filled part, whith the other half of the puff pastry and cut
dumplings.

Bake at 180 ° until the pastry is golden.
