Fall is in the air!

I don't know about you, but once the weather starts to chill and the leaves begin to change, there is nothing I love more than an English Porter. This particular one is from the Atwater Brewery in Detroit Michigan. Be warned, this is heavy stout beer with a hard vanilla and coffee flavor. The coffee leaves a long aftertaste which is nice. It's great though when you'd like to have one or two while strolling the neighborhood in cool or crisp weather. I found it hard to drink more than two in a sitting since it is so heavy!

Atwater Brewery describes this particular beer as:

Originally blended for the working class in Central London, English Style Porters give nod to the masses, mixing traditional old style ales with more modern ales. While relatively dark, English Style Porters eschew burnt flavors for more mellow
profiles.

Inspiration behind artwork: JVP Is a core brand for us, so we wanted to treat this label with delicacy. We added some burlap elements on top of Tony’s artwork to tie in the predominant coffee flavor. The character is a beautiful woman sitting by the Detroit River with the Detroit skyline in the background, having a cup of coffee.
