The cake three milks is a delicious and moist dessert, typical of Latin America. As the name says, it has three types of milk in its preparation; cream of milk, evaporated milk and condensed milk. It is quite sweet, it usually does not have butter, which makes the cake quite creamy, and it is usually covered with meringue.

For this we need the following ingredients:

For the sponge cake

  • 2 cups of rising wheat flour
  • 1 spoon of vanilla
  • 1/2 tablespoon baking powder
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1/2 cup of milk

For the cream three milks

  • 1 can of evaporated milk
  • 1 can of condensed milk
  • 1 can of milk cream
    +1 cup of liquid milk

For the meringue

  • 3 egg whites
  • 5 tablespoons of sugar

Now, for the preparation you have to follow the following steps:

  • The sponge cake: in a bowl, beat the egg whites until the point of nine, then add the sugar, vanilla and egg yolks one by one and beat, adding the flour, the baking powder and the liquid milk. Pour the preparation into a buttered and buttered container. and take to the oven for 30 minutes at 180 ºC.
