Delicious and practical recipe that will allow you to evaluate the healthy food

One of the most important issues facing the entire planet is food waste. Foods that we don't eat or can't eat in our homes for various reasons are thrown away and squandered every day. Cooking more than necessary, not being able to properly store food, not wanting to eat the same food one after the other, not knowing what's in the refrigerator due to its crowdedness, and a variety of other factors that affect all members of the household can all contribute to serious food waste in our kitchen.

A meal is not wanted to be eaten two days in a row, especially because it is difficult to please young children in terms of food, and it is frequently thrown away at the conclusion of the third day, claiming that no one will eat it. We can roll up our sleeves and create new recipes from leftover foods with a little talent, a little ingenuity, and, most importantly, our taste sensibilities. We've put up a list of recipes to help you reinterpret the dishes in your fridge with new flavours and inspire your creativity to come up with new ones:

Falafel balls are a crispy leftover chickpea delicacy. When it comes to juicy dishes, we may be tempted to do a little more than we consume. We don't want to deal with dinner for a few days, and eating the same thing over and over can grow boring. It might be difficult for parents to persuade their children to eat the same dish over and over again. Chickpeas left in the fridge can be used to make wonderful falafels.

Materials:

  • leftover chickpeas from chickpea meal

  • 1 onion, medium

  • 1 teaspoon of parsley

  • Tahini with a splash of colour

  • 2 to 3 garlic cloves

  • paprika and a sprinkle of cumin

  • Lemon juice and strained yoghurt

Method:

Drain the chickpea food first. You can remove the liquid from the meal and freeze it in ice cubes to use later in a vegetable dish or soup.

In a blender, combine the chickpeas and chopped onions.

Add the parsley, tahini, cumin, chilli pepper, and garlic to taste.

If you think the cuisine is overly salty, you can season it with more salt.

Continue mixing until the mixture is completely homogenous.

Small portions of the mixture should be broken off and rolled into small balls.

You may put them on a baking tray and bake them in the oven or cook them in a pan with a little oil if you prefer.

Prepare a light sauce with a few tablespoons of strained yoghurt and a few drops of lemon juice before serving the falafels.

You can also make falafel wraps by stuffing whole wheat lavash with falafels and sauce.

Good luck with your meal!
