Ingredients for 6 people

3 very ripe bananas (around 500gr)
70g of butter
80gr of powdered cane sugar powder
The lime juice
The zest of an untreated orange
The juice of two oranges
5 cl Grand Marinier

Preparation about 15 minutes
Cooking 15 mn

Peel the bananas and cut them in half lengthwise
Melt 40 gr of butter in a pan, place the bananas in them and let them come back.
A few minutes, on high heat.
Remove them from the fire and reserve them.
Melt the remaining butter in the skillet to flame.
Sprinkle with the sugar, stirring constantly.
Sprinkle with lemon juice and orange juice
Add the zest of lemon finely grated.
Reduce on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes
Pour the Grand Marnier, flambé and heat the bananas for a few minutes in this juice.

You can also pour the alcohol directly onto the bananas and flambé it all.
Bananas will have a more pronounced taste and will be more colorful, it's your choice.
Personally, I add 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream, just a regale ^^

Sort:

is it possible to half the recipe?

Why do you want to do half?

You mean half the proportion, for 3 people instead of 6?
