Spinach Pancakes
Dear steemians this spinach pancakes is just fantastic. Make it at first opportunity
- ingredients
250 gr spinach
110 gr self raising flour of
1 short cut baking powder
1 egg and one egg white
50 gr unsalted butter melted
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp cumin
150 ml of milk
6 medium onions fresh (100 gr total) very well cut
1 green horned pepper, chopped
100 gr slice grated
olive oil for frying
aromatic butter with lime
- Execution Method
In a large pan on medium heat, put the spinach with 1 tbsp. olive oil, salt, pepper and sauté.
Once prepared, we push it with our hands to get as much moisture as possible.
Chop the spinach and leave it aside.
Put the butter, baking powder, whole egg, melted butter, salt, cumin and milk in a large bowl and mix with a wire until the mixture is smooth.
Put the onions, peppers, feta, spinach and mix again.
Beat the egg white until it becomes meringue and slowly pour it into our stuffing, stirring gently with a spatula to avoid losing the volume of the mixture.
We take a large pan, pour some butter over the bottom and put it on a moderate fire.
For each pancake we count 2 tbsp. from our mixture. We should take small pancakes of 1 cm in thickness and 7 cm in diameter.
Bake for 2 minutes on each side.
Repeat for each pancake.
Serve with aromatic butter with lime.
