McDonald's teases the return of popular McNugget dipping sauce

It’s been said the power of the press leads to real changes in everything from government policy to popular opinion, but what about the power of the cartoon? Thanks to the Season 3 premiere of Cartoon Network's "Rick and Morty," a few fans of a very special, limited-edition McNugget sauce were in for a tangy treat.
"I want that Mulan McNugget sauce, Morty," Rick says in the episode. "That's my series arc, Morty! If it takes nine seasons!"
To promote the episode Justin Roiland, the show's co-creator, who also voices both title characters, tweeted out images of the cult-favorite sauce with special Rick and Morty labels that the chain sent him ahead of the premiere.
In conjunction with Sunday night's episode, McDonald’s announced that they would be giving away three jugs to select fans who tweeted about the sauce during the brand’s Periscope.

Those born in the late 1990s might not remember the tangy, spicy sauce Rick's talking about. In the summer of 1998, McDonald's released a Szechuan dipping sauce as a promotion for Disney's "Mulan." It was a slightly addictive mix of garlic, chili peppers and Szechuan peppers. For a time, the sauce became so highly coveted that there was a petition that received tens of thousands of signatures to see its return. Sachets of the sauce have sold for as much as $14,000 on eBay.
Though the sauce my not be widely available, just the notion of the sauce's return has legions of fans excited across social media.

A rep for McDonald's for McDonald's confirmed to TODAY Food that only a limited amount of Szechuan sauce was being made and it will not be available in stores — yet.

Cheesecake lovers rejoice! Your favorite decadent dessert is coming to a pantry near you.
The Cheesecake Factory is now selling box mixes of their signature dessert, so you don't even have to go to a restaurant to enjoy that signature, creamy flavor. The mixes are available in three flavors: Classic, Strawberry and Salted Caramel.
Instagram food blogger 'snackbetch' spotted the new line of box mixes at Walmart this week.
In addition to the three cheesecake flavors, you can also whip up Cheesecake Factory's chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookies, as well as chocolate and vanilla cupcakes.
Fans who have already gotten their hands on these mixes have been trying them out at home — and so far, it's all rave reviews.
"This is literally like The Cheesecake Factory," YouTuber Tami Dunn gushed in her baking review video.
The popular chain restaurant explained on their website that they can't reveal their top-secret recipes to the masses, so they've decided to bless us with the next best thing.
"We created a delicious premium cheesecake mix inspired by our legendary desserts so you can enjoy a taste, at home," The Cheesecake Factory said.
