Dessert "Classic Parisian Flan".

Today I want to cook a delicious dessert, it is almost entirely made up of gentle cream.

 Flan - great classic French baking. This is a simple dessert made of eggs, sugar, cream. To say easier - it's baked custard.

Paris flan, or as it is called, sweet flan (flan patissier), - it is custard baked in an open pie.

                    

The recipe below - is the classic recipe of milk-egg flan Paris.

In addition to this recipe, there is a huge amount of sweet and savory flans, and not only on the egg-milk-based.

              

                   

                   

                                 We proceed to the preparation!

You will need

Sweet shortcrust pastry:

- Flour 105g

- Butter (cold) 60 g

- Salt 3 g 

- Powdered sugar 18 g 

- Yolk 2 pcs

Cream filling flan:

- 1 egg + 1 egg yolk

- Sugar 60 g

- Starch 45 g

- Liquid fat cream (35%) 150 ml

- Whole milk (3.5%) 350 ml

- Vanillin 1 package 

How to cook:

1. Sweet shortcrust pastry:

Mix together dry ingredients, mix thoroughly. Add butter in small pieces and rub your hands.

Add the egg yolks. Knead the dough quickly. Once the dough gathered into a ball, wrap in foil and send it in the fridge for an hour and a half.

2. Cream filling flan:

Mix together the sugar and starch, add egg and yolk. Stir wooden spoon until smooth.

Pour the milk and cream, add the vanilla. Put in a water bath and stirring constantly with a whisk, boil until thick sour cream. Allow to cool until warm.

3. Put in a baking parchment paper. Roll out the dough 5 mm thick between two layers of baking paper. Put them to the bottom and walls of the mold. Pour cream into a mold, to distribute uniformly cream.

4. Bake at 180 C °, 40-45 minutes.

5. Flan is ready now he needs to give a little cool.

                   

Delicate French flan all love both adults and children! It is not difficult to prepare. This dessert turns out incredibly delicious.

                   

Put a piece of pie on a plate and you can enjoy the wonderful taste of sweet cream.

                   

                    

Flan on this recipe - a very dangerous thing. With the knowledge of taste for flan quickly appears sharp, almost incurable dependence! :))
