Vegan Cheese Mushroom Sandwich #1 From Professional Cook My First Recipe for steemians

The First Recipe im going to share  has become our family fave. It uses mushrooms. So I actually have a gluten-loose option for you!

Matters have become warm and melty, tacky and delicious in here with my Vegan Cheese Mushroom Sandwich, so lets started...

Step one to is do some choping

 

 only mushrooms, no seitan

mushroom + seitan..

Enough with photography lets come to the point :

Vegan Cheese Mushroom Sandwich Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 bell pepper
  • 2 large portobello mushrooms
  • 2 rolls
  • 1 cup seitan strips
  • 1/4 tsp smoked paprika
  • 2+ Tbsp nutritional yeast
  • 1/2 cup shredded vegan cheese
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil

Instructions

Step 1 :

Turn your oven to 350'C,  Put rolls into the oven. Preserve them in there till they're toasted and heat through the middle.

Step 2 :

Warm a skillet over high tempeature. put the  virgin olive oil. While oil becomes  hot, add the chopped onion, pepper and mushrooms. Saute until onions begin to caramelize and mushrooms and pepper have softened and start to brown on the rims as well.

Step 3 :

Push the veggies over to at least one half and upload the seitan (Wheat gluten) to the pan. Saute for a sometime, till it softens. you may know Seitan is already cooked, so that you  need to heat it to add some taste.

Step 4 :

Whilst the seitan has softened, fold it into all of the vegetables. Upload the paprika, dietary yeast, elective jalapeño and salt and pepper to flavor. You can also put optional taste thru BBQ sauce - certainly fold the sauce into the mixture or marinate the seitan in the sauce beforehand of time.

Step 5 :

When the mixture appears delicious and caramelized and scrumptious, switch off the heat and lightly fold in the cheese.

Step 6 :

Take hold of your toasted roll and slice a slit down the facet. I like to scoop out a chunk of bready filling so i will put some more of my skillet filling.

Step 7:

Add the filling to the bread and near. You can either quick slice and serve. OR go one step similarly and bake the sandwich for a couple of minutes to actually lock within the flavors. To bake: Wrap the sandwich in parchment paper. Slice in half of . Then wrap the sliced sandwich in foil. put the foil within the 350 degree oven for about 5-10 minutes. Then serve warm. The flavors will marinate into the bread a chunk and be greater splendid.

Step 8:

Final observe: you could certainly make these an afternoon ahead of time, how superb is that! Just make certain to apply a hearty roll or bun so the bread does no longer get soggy. And as constantly - you can constantly upload extra or much less vegan cheese to your choices.
