Mabuhay (hello) fellow Steemians,

Today I'll introduce to you this popular sour soup dish in the Philippines called sinigang. Sinigang is a meat (either pork, beef, fish or shrimp) stewed in a tamarind. By the way mine is pork sinigang.

To make this boil pork with chopped tomatoes and onions. After boiling pour in tamarind powder (tamarind puree) and vegetables like cut radish, okra, water spinach, long chinese beans and eggplant. You can also add some long green chili pepper if you want it spicy. Then dash in some salt to taste.

I love Sinigang. My mom always used make this dishes on weekends :)
Sinece we couldn't always have the right ingredients she used some local vegetable like paprika but it still tasted good :)
