Green Beans - My Quick and Easy Recipe
Not a fancy meal but very delish..... and it´s so easy to make, cook in advance and you can even freeze it. Try this!
Serves 4
Ingredients:
1 Kilogram cut green beans , frozen ( thawed the night before)
1 medium size chicken breast ( or 300 grams of pork filet)
1 big onion
2 cloves of garlic, crushed
1 tbsp. sweet paprika powder
2 tbsp creme fraiche
300 ml of vegetable broth
1 tbsp of soy sauce
olive oil ( vegetable oil will also do)
salt
ground black pepper
Preparations
1.. Steam the green beans for about 10 minutes , set aside.
2.. Cut the chicken into cubes, sprinkle with soy sauce and let stand for 2 minutes. In a deep casserole pot with 1 tbsp olive oil, fry the chicken til golden brown, then add the garlic and the onions and fry til onions are limp and pale in color. Add the beans, the sweet paprika and stir-fry so paprika is evenly distributed.
3.. Add the chicken broth and cook for about 3 minutes or til the liquid boils. If liquid has evaporated, add more broth. If you like it thicker, dissolve 2 teaspoons of corn flour in 3 teaspoons of water and add to the broth slowly mix everything
4.. Season with salt and pepper according to your taste. Add the creme fraiche and stir carefully til creme is dissolved and evenly distributed. Adjust the seasoning. Goes well with cooked rice.

That looks some mighty tasty green beans mam. Will try this recipe when i get the chance. Just looking at the picture makes me hungry. lol
