Morroccan style baklava (vegan, oil-free & sugar free)

Hello Steemit!

Today I made baklava and Morroccan mint tea for my afternoon snack;

Instructions;

  • Finely chop your chosen nuts in a food processor or chopper (I used pistachio, almond flour and cashew nuts) and mixed them with maple syrup (but you can use another sugar substitute) and orange blossom water.
  • After this, spread the mixture on the filo dough and start rolling.
  • Then you throw water with orange blossom on top to make it a little damp (or butter if you prefer this, sugar water is also an option)
  • Finally you throw some nuts on top and bake it for 15 minutes in the oven at 180 c

I never used orange blossom. How do you get that elixir? :)
