chicken vegetable soup

major rainfall here in the Hawaiian islands with flood warnings and thunderstorms. so, taking advantage of the cool rainy weather to get back to my Alaskan roots and make some chicken soup! I never follow recipes cause thats how mom did it and it's more fun anyway :).

brown chicken thighs and onion/spices in olive oil

add your veggies/chicken broth

drink some wine while you're at it!

I added some half and half, 2 cans cream of mushroom soup, and some tilamook medium cheddar cheese

tweak the spices if you need to. I added all mine to season the chicken while browning and found that was just right :)
