MOUTHGASMIC LECHON DE CEBU
Cebu has been branded and still holding the crown of the best tasting Lechon in the whole Philippines.
Lechon is prepared by putting herbs and vegetables inside the pig's body. The pigs are slowly roasted by hand-turning over hot coals for hours, until the skin turns reddish brown. The skin becomes crispy while the flesh becomes tender, juicy and flavorful. I, myself grew up having Lechon on our table every time we have a gathering.
