The first myth to debunk is that carbohydrates are the best source of energy. The theory that you should eat them before a workout or if you want an energy raise is an old myth. Normal wisdom assumed that sugars like white breads, white flours, cereals and pastas were once considered the best source of energy but new research is displaying us our bodies actually choose to produce energy from a much easier and far better food source: healthy fats.
Healthy fat like avocado, nut products/seeds, salmon, and healthy natural oils (like olive, coconut and MCT essential oil) will complete you up faster and keep you satiated much longer, and that is the key to supplying your body the fuel it would like and needs to keep you heading like the Energizer bunny.
