Recipe for delicious pies
I began to fry pies relatively recently, before everything was in the oven. I make the dough for fried pies on kefir and so that the kefir had a fat content of 3.2%.
Also, sour cream and vegetable oil must be added to the dough. You do not need to add a whole egg, you only need the yolk, because the protein makes the dough heavier. Here are the foods you need for the test:
Kefir (3.2%) - 250 g
Sour cream - 2 tbsp.
Egg (yolk) - 1 pc.
Vegetable oil - 1 tbsp.
Flour - about 500 gr.
Salt - 1 tsp
Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Soda - 1/2 tsp
Kefir should be heated over low heat and stir constantly
Then add sour cream to warm kefir, then add salt, sugar and yolk, and mix, then vegetable oil, and mix again.
Add half of the flour and stir until smooth. Then the remaining flour and soda, mix everything again and already knead the dough with your hands. The resulting dough should be covered with cellophane and allowed to stand for about 15 minutes. Then you can form pies, any filling. Today I fried pies with potatoes, cabbage and a little bit of sorrel. Pies from such a dough remain soft and tender even when they cool.
