Low Carb Argentine Barbecue (Asado)

Welcome to another post from @lowcarbmaster today we bring you an authentic Argentinean barbecued ribs. For this in addition to all the ingredients we will need a stake, newspaper and firewood plus small dry branches to light the fire and the stake to put the ribs on, also if it doesn't upset your stomach you can use charcoal instead of firewood. It takes skill, patience, and the correct ingredients to make a true Argentine asado. This is a comprehensive recipe for making a mouthwatering Argentine asado that will have you hankering after more.

You'll need the following supplies to get started:

  • One rib.

Brine:

One liter of water

  • Black pepper 1 handful.
    Salt, coarse (150 grams).

  • One unit of lemon juice

  • 7 garlic cloves.

  • Rosemary

  • Thyme.
    Oregano is a herb.

  • Mint.

  • Broccoli.

  • Bell pepper (red).

  • Rounds of onion sliced.

  • Asparagus

  • Add salt in between black pepper, nutmeg, and finely chopped garlic.

  • Creole Sauce:

Cherry tomatoes, parsley, green and red bell bell pepper, basil, salt, olive oil and vinegar.

Let's go to work now:

  1. Begin by getting the brine ready. Combine the water, lemon juice, black pepper, coarse salt, cloves of garlic, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and mint in a big basin. Until the salt is all dissolved, give the mixture a good stir.

  2. Submerge the ribs entirely in the brine by placing them there. Allow them sit in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours, or better yet, overnight in the brine.

  3. You may get the criolla ready while the ribs are marinating. Finely chop the basil, green and red bell peppers, parsley, and cherries. Combine all of these ingredients in a bowl and add vinegar, olive oil, and salt for seasoning. Keep the criolla chilled until you're ready to serve.

  4. Take the ribs out of the brine and blot dry with paper towels after they have marinated for the entire duration. Enough black pepper, nutmeg, dried garlic, and fine salt should be used to coat the whole surface of the meat.

  5. Set up your grill for medium-high heat cooking. After putting the ribs on the grill, roast them for about an hour, rotating them now and then to ensure equal cooking.

  6. You may get ready with the garnishes while the ribs are cooking. Chop the red bell pepper, onion, asparagus, and cauliflower into big pieces. After putting the veggies in a baking dish, season them with salt, pepper, and olive oil.

  7. After the ribs are cooked to your preference, take them from the grill and give them a few minutes to rest before slicing them into bite-sized pieces.

  8. Present the ribs along with the criolla and grilled garnishes, and savor this mouthwatering asado from Argentina!
