Cheesy Corn Bread

Sharing a recipe with you for an easy and delicious little loaf to make this weekend, lovely served hot with loads of butter, especially nice at a barbeque, a favourite accompaniment with a braai (as we call it here in South Africa), at Lily's Cottage (www.lilyscottage.co.za).
Real yummy with tomato & onion gravy/ salsa piled on top.

500ml (2 cups) SELF RAISING FLOUR
2ml SEASONING SALT of choice
250ml (1 cup) GRATED CHEESE
1 can CREAMSTYLE SWEETCORN
2 EGGS, beaten
Sift dry ingredients, add cheese and mix.
Add sweetcorn & eggs and mix with a spoon till well blended.
Spoon into a well-greased loaf tin. (line with baking paper if you have, but not necessary)
Bake for 50 – 60 minutes at 180 C
Carefully remove from pan.
Serve hot and enjoy!

I am a long time cornbread lover, but Ive never made it with cheese. This sounds like a fun recipe to try!
