FRESH KIWANOS FROM THE GARDEN!
Yes, you really do reap what you sow!
These are most likely the last of our kiwano harvest this year. We enjoyed a most of them on the homestead, but shared the last one with @ironshield yesterday. It was a first for him, but this was our third year growing them, Maybe @ironshield will try growing some now! Either way, it is nice to share with friends, especially steemians!

What is a kiwano ? I have never heard of this fruit? vegetable? How do you eat it?
I should get you guys some seeds. It is an African Horned Melon AKA "Jelly Melon." As for eating it, I've got a how to video:

I’ve been harvesting the last of my summer crops too. This in between time is still a part of gardening I’m not so good at (:0)
