I think things could improve if we had a more resource driven economy that takes into account these types of issues created by profit motivation and encourages alternative practices. It appears that the bee problem is just the tip of the iceberg when you consider all the issues facing food production at this time.

There are a lot of really good ideas like vertical farming that I think could help clear up some issues and save water. It is my hope that things will change rapidly and we can go back to producing a greater variety of crops for our health benefits, bee health, and increase of food production security.
